How to delete search history in Vista

There are two kinds of search history stored on your computer - search history stored by your browser and Windows Vista search history.
Search history stored by your browser
Your browser stores everything that you have searched in the Internet. While search history may be helpful for some things, it can seriously compromise your privacy.
The search history is stored on your computer because of a feature called Autocomplete. Autocomplete stores a list of everything you type in web pages (e.g. search engine history, your name, e-mail address, credit card information, etc).

If you search an item using Vista Explorer, Vista will automatically keep a record of the search. And this search history will be visible to anyone who begins a new search.

• Select Tools and then Delete browsing history.
• Under 'Form data', select 'Delete forms' and click 'Delete'.

• Select Tools.
